“I’M ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT CREATING. MY FUTURE STARTS WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND SEE THE LIGHT.”
― Miles Davis
My name is Alyssa, and I am a New England Creative, Designer and Photographer committed to sharing your story visually.
Here is a glimpse of my story. I grew up in the blue meets white collar town of Pittsburgh, PA by two non-creatives who decided it was ok to let their only child become a Communications Major/Entrepreneurship Minor. Despite my deep-rooted desire to escape Western Pennsylvania weather, I chose Grove City College, a school in the middle of PA farmland as my home for four years. I let my overachieving freak flag wave and joined a sorority, multiple campus organizations, and clubs. However, it was not until the summer before my senior year that I found my passion in life: graphic design, photography and making the world a little more beautiful. The rest of my college experience can be culminated in sacrificing my social life for studio hours and pestering my design professor for his wealth of knowledge. I graduated with honors in Communications and somehow landed a job a week after graduation in the last place I ever expected, New England.
So here I am, a bright-eyed young professional working as a Graphic Designer & Photographer. My day to day varies, but you can often find me running around my day job staging photos, sitting at my computer designing print materials, or brainstorming my next designed publication.
I am a dreamer, a creative, and a netflix binger. Outside of being a New England Creative, I can often be found coffee shop hopping in my stomping grounds of New Haven, CT., traveling, hiking, and raising awareness about human trafficking. I can officially say I am a New England convert and am happy to travel anywhere to serve your wants and needs.
